Details

The Patrol Power Covert Patrol taillight flasher and blackout module offers the following features:

  • Factory brake light flash (four selectable CA Title 13 compliant patterns)

  • Factory reverse light flash (NOT CA Title 13 compliant; can be disabled)

  • Supplemental tail light LED support

    • Typical use: install a blue strobe (not included) in each tail light assembly; use Covert Patrol to flash them whenever it flashes the brake light, but not when the vehicle flashes the brake light.

  • Bypass the module's internal flasher and instead use custom flash patterns: connect your siren's output to a Covert Patrol input for custom pattern flashing to achieve full-vehicle synchronization

  • Brake light and reverse light black out feature - enabled via switch (included with stand alone and universal models) or via siren controller

  • Full use of Molex connectors to ease troubleshooting and in the event bypassing of the system becomes necessary

  • Utilization of factory connectors on left and right tail lights for 2020+ Ford Utility applications, reducing installation time and minimizing cutting of factory wires

This is the universal Covert Patrol kit. For additional convenience we have specialized packages, not limited to:

Includes:

  • Covert Patrol module with connector pigtails as shown

  • Universal vehicle interface harnesses intercept factory circuits:

    • One connector receives brake switch, reverse switch, and park light signals that originally went to factory lights, redirecting them to the module

    • The other carries outputs from the module to the OEM lightheads

  • Auxiliary output harness to support two additional lights

  • Switch harness conveys console switch signal as well as power for the switch's internal LED
