The LIN Guard module is an active data bus fault isolator. It serves as a hub for distribution of power, ground, and digital communication, branching its main inputs to different “zones.” It constantly monitors each LIN signal line for a short circuit, upon which it will disconnect that zone from the rest of the LIN bus so that other devices will not be affected.
The device is designed for integration with SoundOff Signal’s bluePRINT system and includes a 4-pin JST jumper to power a SoundOff Signal Breakout Box or “BOB” and receive LIN signal from the BOB.
This kit is for use of the module without FasTech, integrating it into your own siren wiring.
